Amidst the plethora of potential privacy deliverables, including Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), Information Sharing Agreements, and contracts, there are a variety of privacy stakeholders, like Program Managers, Privacy Officers, and the Information and Privacy Commissioner among others. This session will clarify what goes to whom, and when - essential knowledge for ensuring that your projects are able to successfully navigate privacy and compliance obstacles and still be delivered on time.

Matt Reed Sr. Director, Strategic Privacy, BC Government Matt Reed is the Senior Director, Strategic Privacy, Legislation and Training for the BC Government’s corporate privacy office. After writing his Master’s thesis on social media advertising, privacy and choice, he began working for government, where he has been for the past nine years. During this tenure Matt has managed the privacy implications of many cross-government initiatives, including: cloud, social media, the mobile worker and open data strategies.
