Effective leaders recognize and understand that resistance is greatest when change is unexpected or unexplained. As a result, they take a proactive approach by developing strategies and compelling communications to minimize resistance, as well as help individuals move through the change curve towards commitment. Communication strategies need to be well thought out and purposeful to create excitement and mobilize people to take action. In this engaging session, you will learn how to create a sense of urgency for the change, how to address individual concerns, and what people need communicated to them in order to gain their commitment to the change.

She is an instructor, consultant, award winning author keynote speaker and project professional with over 15 years of progressive experience in developing and delivering programs in both public and private sectors including one-on-one coaching with senior management and director level staff.

With a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Information Technology Management, Siobhan holds her Change Management Practitioner (CMP) Designation from APMG, her Project Management Professional (PMP) Designation from the Project Management Institute, her Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP) designation from the Institute for Performance and Learning and is a certified Extended DiSC® facilitator. She has currently completed her Masters of Arts in Leadership at Royal Roads University.
